About the club

UBAFC is the official football club at the University of Bristol and is an institution built on the values of passion, dedication and success. With six teams all playing BUCS football and over 100 members we are one of the largest sports clubs at the university. We welcome players of all abilities so long as you are committed to the culture we have worked hard to build at the club.

Our recent success has been remarkable and something we take a great deal of pride in. With 10 league titles and 11 promotions in the past 5 seasons, our achievements have not gone unnoticed and we are currently ranked highly in the country for Men’s Football. The pursuit of glory is in the club’s fabric and it is this winning mentality, which drives our players on the pitch to be victorious. Last season was a real rollercoaster. Read all about it in our new 2021/22 Season Report.

Most of all, we as a club pride ourselves on the great culture and atmosphere we have created both on and off the pitch. Upon joining UBAFC, members become players for the rest of their time at university but more importantly a part of the UBAFC family for life. We are always looking for more people to join us and become part of a community of players past and present! If you enjoy playing football and want to make some great friends as well, check out the Join UBAFC tab to see when the next trials are where you can try out for the club.
